The Dandelion is a converted scout ship, with its lander craft having a deep veridian green outer hull.  The main ship has been heavily modified, with a wide variety of extra and non-standard capsules and cargo facilities having been added over what is plainly the course of many years.

Dandelion is piloted by Captain Sol De Souza, an apparently middle aged woman with long greying hair, a slight tendency to fat and a fondness for flowing flowery dresses.  Although apparently friendly on first encounter, Captain De Souza quickly becomes businesslike and shows a dispassionate attitude toward the wellbeing of non-spacer communities.

Other crew members include the gunner Verito Loredo, a petite woman in noticeably good shape with a taste for simple and austere clothing.

The Dandelion's engineer is Roberto Ibanez, a handsome and powerfully built man who generally keeps to the ship.

It is understood the Dandelion's crew also includes, unusually, a biotech engineer, identity unknwown as at this time.
